miscellaneous
1) The bacteria can communicate via chemical signals through quorum sensing, which is the regulation of gene expression as a response to a fluctuating cell-population density. Through this process, the bacteria produce and release chemical signal molecules called autoinducers, increasing in concentration as a function of cell density.
2) Pseudomonas aeruginosa have a good resistance to antibiotics because of their increased ability to remove the medication from the inside of the cell.
3) This bacteria can cause abortions in some animal species.
4) It is one of the fastest swimming species of bacteria that is known.
